Analyst Predicts Cowboys’ Season Will Come to an End With Thursday’s Loss

Former Player Reveals What Cowboys Need To Accomplish Next Season

It’s never wise to jump to conclusions just a couple of games into the NFL season.

However, it’s a fact that losing three of your first four games will make it difficult to make the playoffs.

That’s what’s at stake for the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys in Thursday’s matchup.

This goes way beyond a divisional rivalry, especially for a team like the Cowboys, as they expected to be in the mix for their divisional pennant and a playoff spot.

With that in mind, Emmanuel Acho argued that a loss on Thursday would pretty much end the Cowboys’ season.

Talking on The Facility, Acho claimed that we don’t know how bad or good the Cowboys actually are because of how volatile their opponents have been as well.

What we do know, however, is that Dak Prescott is 12-2 vs. the Giants and that Daniel Jones is 1-7 vs. the Cowboys.

That means that if the Cowboys somehow manage to lose Thursday, the gap between both teams isn’t that wide, thus making the Cowboys one of the worst teams in the league — just like the Giants are.

That logic might sound simple and redundant, but it actually makes some sense.

The Cowboys cannot afford another setback, as they’ll have to face the Pittsburgh Steelers, Detroit Lions, San Francisco 49ers, Atlanta Falcons, Philadelphia Eagles, and Houston Texans in the next six weeks.
