There has been plenty of talk about the New York Jets this offseason — again.
Robert Saleh’s team should have no more room for excuses, as Aaron Rodgers is back to full strength and, more than that, they’ve managed to upgrade their ever-struggling offensive line, all while adding some other offensive weapons to the mix.
With that in mind, sports analyst Jason McIntyre believes they’re definitely a top-five team in the National Football League, at least when it comes to having a legitimate chance to win the Super Bowl.
In his latest appearance on The Herd, the renowned analyst shared his list of team tiers, which goes as follows:

Absolutely no shot: Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, New York Giants, Las Vegas Raiders, Arizona Cardinals.
They need a prayer: Pittsburgh Steelers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New Orleans Saints, Minnesota Vikings, Washington Commanders, Carolina Panthers, and Tennessee Titans.
Mid: Miami Dolphins, Atlanta Falcons, Los Angeles Rams, Chicago Bears, Jacksonville Jaguars, Indianapolis Colts, and Seattle Seahawks.
In the mix: Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens, Philadelphia Eagles, Houston Texans, Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Chargers, and Cleveland Browns.
Favorites: San Francisco, 49ers, Kansas City Chiefs, Detroit Lions, Cincinnati Bengals, and — of course — New York Jets.
You may or may not agree with him regarding some of the teams, but he might be right on point with the Jets.
There’s no reason to believe that, if healthy, the Jets could keep up with the rest of the powerhouses in the game, and while it won’t be easy, they have more than enough talent to do so.
