Analyst Predicts Potential Hot Seat for AFC East Coach

The Miami Dolphins have been a much better team over the past couple of seasons.

Mike McDaniel has been all about speed and putting defenders on skates with his explosive offense.

The Dolphins have been one of the most electrifying and entertaining teams to watch in the two years under McDaniel, but they have yet to win a playoff game.

Notably, he got a pass in his first season because of Tua Tagovailoa’s injury, and the same happened again last year because of the blistering cold in Kansas City.

Nonetheless, they have a playoff-caliber team, and as such, the clock is ticking on them.

That’s why Craig Carton recently stated that as much as he can’t say that McDaniel is on the hot seat in Miami, it’s only a matter of time before it happens.

Talking on The Carton Show, he argued that the Dolphins cannot keep waiting for their next postseason win.

That’s right on point.

McDaniel has said all the right things, and it’s more than evident that he has the full support of his players and decision-makers.

Then again, the Dolphins are spending a lot of money on that offense and are expected to make a huge investment to keep Tagovailoa around.

And with the way they’ve fallen flat late in the two seasons under McDaniel, they might start demanding better results soon enough.
