The New York Jets have been one of the most highly discussed teams in the NFL for the past two seasons.
This conversation started with the addition of Aaron Rodgers, as many believed this move alone made the Jets a Super Bowl contender.
They weren’t in that position due to his injury last year, but he’s slated to be back to full health ahead of the 2024 season.
With this in mind, the Jets have taken further strides during this offseason to ensure they have the best possible pieces around Rodgers to succeed.
As Craig Carton recently said in a segment of his show, “The Jets have everything they need to succeed.”
“I now disconnect HC Robert Saleh from GM Joe Douglas. I’m no longer sure that their career paths are tethered to one another.”

They recently added Hasson Reddick to their defense, which was the icing on the cake to an already star-studded offseason.
The Jets also made splashes by acquiring Mike Williams and Tyron Smith, adding to their wide receiver room and offensive line, respectively.
It appears that the Jets are in all-in mode, believing that these additions will make them much more competitive, not only in the AFC East but also in the conference.
The Jets haven’t made the playoffs in over a decade, and if these moves don’t help them get there, they could wait another decade to see the playoffs.
Rodgers is confident in himself, his abilities, and the team built around him.
Will this be enough for the Jets to take the step forward they have been craving for years?
That remains to be seen, but with the draft coming up in a few weeks, the Jets aren’t done adding talent to this roster.
