The Dallas Cowboys will host the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday evening in the marquee matchup of Week 14 of this NFL season.

The Eagles are 10-2 after getting blasted by the San Francisco 49ers last weekend, which means they’re just one game ahead of the Cowboys for first place in the NFC East.

This game will feature a matchup of two MVP-caliber quarterbacks: Jalen Hurts, who was the runner-up in last year’s MVP balloting, and Dak Prescott, who has been on a tear lately and is right behind the 49ers’ Brock Purdy as the favorite for this year’s award.

Joy Taylor said on “Speak” that Hurts has more pressure on him than Prescott does for this game because the Eagles have Super Bowl aspirations, while Dallas hasn’t even reached the NFC Championship Game in over 25 years.

These two teams met just a few weeks ago, with Philly winning at home, 28-23, when Prescott failed to succeed on a last-minute drive that could’ve won the game.

Prescott has completed 70.1 percent of his pass attempts while throwing for 3,234 yards and an NFL-high 26 touchdowns this season, and he has helped the Cowboys rank first in points, passing touchdowns, and first downs.

While Hurts’ passing stats aren’t as impressive, especially since he has thrown 10 interceptions versus just six for Prescott, he has scored 12 touchdowns on the ground, which is a talent Prescott doesn’t really have.

Dallas has won an incredible 14 consecutive games at home, and this game could very well decide which of these two very good teams ends up winning the NFC East and possibly the first seed in the conference.
