The Buffalo Bills experienced significant changes this offseason, with Stefon Diggs being traded, leaving Josh Allen with an unproven wide receiver group. The team’s defense also suffered losses, raising questions about their potential improvement from previous seasons.

During a discussion on The Carton Show, sports analyst Craig Carton expressed skepticism about the Bills’ chances of finishing above .500 in the upcoming season. Concerns were raised about Josh Allen’s performance and potential struggles, especially when under pressure.

Despite Allen’s talent, there are concerns about his tendency to force plays and commit turnovers when faced with difficulties. The Bills have faced playoff heartbreak in recent years, notably against the Kansas City Chiefs and quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Additionally, the emergence of the New York Jets as divisional rivals adds another challenge for the Bills in the AFC East.

While Carton’s pessimism about the Bills’ prospects may be extreme, it highlights the competitive landscape they face in the AFC. The team will need to overcome formidable opponents, including the reigning Super Bowl champions, to achieve success in the upcoming season.
