KK Bosna Meridianbet Sarajevo (Division I) signed 26-year old Bosnian ex-international guard Darko Talic (187cm-1998) for upcoming 2024-25 season. Talic was about to sign at SBBK Sodertalje in Swedish Basketligan.
He also represented Bosnia at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U18 in Samsun (Turkey) eight years ago. His stats at that event were 6 games: 10.3ppg, 3.3rpg, 2.5apg, 1.2spg, FGP: 45.2%, 3PT: 22.7%, FT: 82.6%.
Talic has played previously professionally in Serbia (KK Borac Cacak) and Bosnia (Kakanj, Igokea and Vogosca). He won Bosnia and Herzegovina League championship title in 2017, 2022 and 2023 and the cup in 2016, 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2022. Talic was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Bosnia and Herzegovina League Honorable Mention back in 2019 and 2020.
