BC Kavkasia Tbilisi (Superleague) landed 26-year old international 210cm center
Giorgi Turdziladze for the upcoming season. Turdziladze played most recently at
Delta. In 17 Superleague games, he averaged 12.0ppg, 5.6rpg, 1.5apg, and 1.3bpg last season. He helped them to win the Supercup and make it to the league semifinals. Turdziladze also spent the pre-season at
BC GAU Tbilisi that year. The other team he briefly played for was
Tbilisi State University. He contributed to his team winning the Supercup and making it to the league semifinals.
Turdziladze has also been a member of the Georgian international program for several years. He has regularly played for the Georgian senior team since 2018 and previously for the U18 National Team back in 2014.
Turdziladze represented Georgia at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 Division B in Chalkida (Greece) eight years ago. His stats at that event were 6 games: 9.7ppg, 6.2rpg, 2.5apg, 1.3bpg, FGP: 50.0%, FT: 54.5%.
He has also played professionally in France (Rueil and Orchesien BC), Spain (Agustinos), and Georgia (Mgzavrebi and RASHI Tbilisi).
Among many awards, he was voted to Eurobasket.com Georgian League All-Domestic Players Team back in 2020.
