Lenovo Tenerife (Liga Endesa) agreed terms with 32-year old Canadian-British international small forward Thomas Scrubb (198cm-91kg-1991, college: Carleton, agency: Octagon Europe) for new 2024-25 season. Scrubb played last season at Obradoiro in the Liga Endesa. In 34 games he had 11.9ppg, 6.0rpg, 1.6apg and 1.3spg (in top 5). 2023-24 was a great season as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish Liga Endesa Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week. He also played 3 games in Basketball Champions League where he recorded 10.7ppg, 6.0rpg and 2.0apg. The other team he played shortly was Monbus Obradoiro. 2023-24 was a great season as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish Liga Endesa Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week.
Scrubb has been a member of Canadian international program for some years. He has been regularly called to Canadian senior team since 2014 and previously for University National Team back in 2013.
Scrubb is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Finland (Kataja), France (SIG Strasbourg and JL Bourg), Germany (46ers), Italy (Openjobmetis Varese and Avellino) and Canada (River Lions and Blackjacks). His team won OUA Tournament in 2012, 2013 and 2015.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Finnish Korisliiga Forward of the Year back in 2016.
Scrubb graduated from Carleton University in 2015 and it will be his tenth season as a professional player.
