Krka Novo Mesto (Liga Nova KBM) signed 21-year old international power forward Tibor Mirtic (202cm-2003) for upcoming 2024-25 season. Mirtic has played for the last four years at Helios Suns in the Liga Nova KBM. In 24 games he had 14.6ppg, 7.1rpg (#2 in the league), 2.2apg and 1.0spg last season. He helped them to make it to both league and Supercup final after they ended regular season as second best team. 2023-24 was a great year as he was named to Eurobasket.com Slovenian League All-Domestic Players Team and Eurobasket.com All-Slovenian League Second Team. Mirtic also played 14 games in ABA League where he recorded 12.6ppg, 8.6rpg, 1.9apg and 1.1spg.
He has been also a member of Slovenian international program for some years. Mirtic played for Slovenian senior team this year and previously for U18 National Team in 2021. He represented Slovenia at the FIBA U20 European Championship in Greece last year. His stats at that event were 7 games: 7.9ppg, 4.3rpg, 2.1apg, 1.0spg, FGP: 50.0%, FT: 52.4%.
