American Jacorie Archie (198-SG-1995) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Xirdalan BK Baku and that’s him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 18. The 28-year old shooting guard had a double-double of 25 points and 18 rebounds, while his team beat Jalilabad (#9, 5-13) 90-84. Xirdalan maintains the 4th position in Azerbaijani ABL. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. Xirdalan will need more victories to improve their 12-6 record. In the team’s last game Archie had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Xirdalan‘s top player in his first season with the team. Georgia Southwestern State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Archie is in league’s top in points (2nd best: 21.6ppg) and averages solid 51.0% FGP and 41.3% from behind 3-point line.
