KK Rabotnicki AD Skopje (Prva Liga) agreed terms with 28-year old American guard Wesley Person Jr. (190cm-82kg-1995, college: Troy) for new 2024-25 season. Person is the second import player in the roster as Serbian Mihailo Jovicic signed here earlier.
He played last season at Korihait in Finnish Korisliiga. In 34 games he had 13.6ppg, 2.0rpg and 1.4apg. He helped them to make it to the Finnish Cup Semifinals.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at Szedeak in Hungarian A Division where in 35 games he recorded 11.4ppg, 1.6rpg and 1.1apg in that year.
In 2019 (a year after his graduation) he was drafted by Maine Red Claws (G-League) as #4 pick overall.
The former Troy University standout is in his seventh season in pro basketball.
He is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in five different countries. Person tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Chile (Castro), Italy (Roseto), United Kingdom (Newcastle Eagles), Hungary (Kormend) and NBA G League (Maine Celtics).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Person’s team was regular season runner-up in Hungarian League in 2020. Person was also voted All-Sun Belt Freshman of the Year back in 2015.
