Andy Reid Reveals Honest Thoughts About Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift

On Sunday, the whole world will be watching the Kansas City Chiefs take part in the Super Bowl for the fourth time in the last five seasons when they go up against the San Francisco 49ers inside Las Vegas’s Allegiant Stadium.

Some believe Sunday’s matchup could be one of the most watched Super Bowls in NFL history, thanks in part to the fact that Chiefs All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce is dating singer Taylor Swift.

Swift is a worldwide megastar, and a good portion of her fan base is expected to tune into Sunday’s game to see if her current romantic interest can help lead Kansas City to another Super Bowl victory.

Some would think that Kelce dating a pop music superstar would create a distraction for his team, but Chiefs head coach Andy Reid recently commented on how that hasn’t been the case at all this season (via SiriusXM NFL Radio on Twitter).

“It hasn’t been a distraction, so there haven’t been any problems with it and she’s a good girl. She loves the game and obviously loves Kelce, so I’m happy for both of them,” Reid said.

Kelce is coming off of a monster performance in the AFC Championship, in which he helped lead Kansas City to a win over the Baltimore Ravens by hauling in 11 passes for 116 yards and one touchdown.

Against the 49ers on Sunday, the veteran Chiefs tight end will be looking to do more of the same with millions of people watching around the world.

Will the support of Swift’s massive fan base help propel Kelce and Kansas City to their second Super Bowl win in a row, or will San Francisco spoil all of the fun by sending the Chiefs home with a loss?
