Anthony Edwards recently talked about his experience chirping at Kevin Durant after scoring against him in Game 1 of the Minnesota Timberwolves’ playoff series victory over the Phoenix Suns.
Edwards played a crucial role in the Timberwolves’ 120-95 win, scoring 18 points in the third quarter.
After the game, Edwards mentioned Durant as his favorite player of all time and expressed his excitement at playing against him and Devin Booker in the playoffs.
Edwards is looking forward to playing alongside Durant and Booker at the Olympics and sees the matchup with the Suns as a chance for bragging rights.
He specifically wanted to face the Suns in the playoffs because of the challenge they pose with their talented guards.
The Timberwolves and Suns will face off again in Game 2 on Tuesday.
