Coming into the 2023 NFL Draft, there were a handful of quarterbacks making some noise that were expected to be taken near the top, and some of those quarterbacks didn’t disappoint when they were given the opportunity to show what they could do on the football field on the NFL level.

One of those quarterbacks was Anthony Richardson out of the University of Florida, who was a wild card going into the draft but quickly showed his versatility and talent once with the Indianapolis Colts, giving him the start.

Although many believed Richardson wasn’t as talented as Bryce Young and C.J. Stroud, the former Gators star put on a show in the four games he played before going down with a season-ending shoulder that required surgery.

Richardson showed enough in the short amount of time last season to get Colts fans excited about the future, as he proved to be as entertaining as they come under center.

Fortunately for Indianapolis, Richardson was able to get back on the field this week, with the team releasing this footage on it’s Twitter account on Monday.

With Richardson showing a lot of promise, the team has brought in some talent around him during this NFL offseason, as they brought in rookie wide receivers Adonai Mitchell and Anthony Gould along with rookie offensive linemen Matt Goncalves and Tanor Bortolini.

It’ll be interesting to see what Richardson can do with some more time on the field in 2024 and whether he can stay healthy and lead this team moving forward.
