Antonio Brown was once considered to be one of the best wide receivers in the National Football League.
His talent and impact were second to none, and his connection with Ben Roethlisberger was one of the all-time greats.
Brown’s infamous exit from the Pittsburgh Steelers was a polarizing one.
He had always kept a low profile, so most fans sided with him at first.
Then, he went on a never-ending string of erratic behavior that’s still going on.
Recently, he sat down with Ryan Clark for his The Pivot podcast, and he opened up on his post-playing days (Via MLFootball).
The former All-Pro revealed that his CTESPN thing on social media isn’t just a joke, as football players have to endure plenty of trauma from their playing days, and no one is talking about that.
NEWS: #NFL icon Antonio Brown talks about the severe trauma he has from football & what it’s done to him mentally.
“CTESPN is not a game, we as football players and we as human beings do have real trauma that we’re not talking about.”

It’s nice to see him acknowledge that he might be dealing with plenty of stuff, as it’s become slightly evident throughout the course of the years.
NFL players have to deal with plenty, both physically and mentally, and not everyone might be fit or able to overcome that.
From the pressure to be great and the expectations and weight on their shoulders to the actual physical beating they have to endure, no one leaves the game of football unharmed or unscratched.
Yes, they make millions and life-changing money, but they’re also human beings.
Hopefully, Brown will be willing to pursue the help he so clearly needs and get his life back on track.
