Arsenal is eyeing a potential transfer for Borussia Dortmund’s goalkeeper, Diant Ramaj.
The 24-year-old German keeper is currently impressing while on loan at Heidenheim. Arsenal is monitoring his progress closely and may pursue a deal.
Potential Move for Ramaj
Joining Arsenal could present an appealing opportunity for Ramaj, marking a significant advancement in his career. Nevertheless, regular playing time is crucial at this juncture, and remaining on the bench would not serve his development well.
Arsenal already has two established goalkeepers, which complicates his potential role.
Christian Falk shared with SportBILD: “Yes, it’s true that Ramaj is on Arsenal’s radar. Heidenheim has him on loan from Dortmund, so discussions with them are necessary. Arsenal has David Raya as their primary goalkeeper, indicating Ramaj would be looking at a backup position. Kepa Arrizabalaga, also contracted until 2028, could mean Ramaj would have to consider this move carefully, although Arsenal is an intriguing prospect.”
Will Arsenal Pursue Ramaj?

It will be telling to see whether Arsenal will translate their interest into a formal offer. They have the financial resources to complete the signing, but it hinges on whether they can entice Ramaj with assurances of a significant role.
There’s no denying that the young keeper could be a valuable addition for Arsenal, but his current focus should be on securing consistent playing time. Before making any commitments to a transfer, clarity on game time is essential.
The willingness of Dortmund to release Ramaj remains uncertain. Although he may not feature prominently in their plans, his talent suggests he could still play a meaningful role for the German side in the future.
