Arsenal fan Piers Morgan makes bold prediction about Champions League

Arsenal fan Piers Morgan makes bold prediction about Champions League

According to outspoken Arsenal fan Piers Morgan, Mikel Arteta’s team will win the Champions League this season.

Morgan believes Arsenal will beat Bayern Munich in the quarterfinal, Manchester City in the semifinal and Barcelona in the final to win the biggest club competition in Europe.

Following Friday’s draw for the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal and semifinal, Morgan made the bold prediction on X.

Arsenal were paired against German giants in the draw, a tie that would see them come against old enemy Harry Kane.

Former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel would return to face the Gunners in a mouth-watering tie.

Even though Bayern Munich are having a difficult season, they are one of the biggest teams in the world with a history of success in Europe and a track record of winning significant trophies.

Real Madrid will play Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain will play Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid will play Borussia Dortmund in the other quarterfinal matchups.

Arsenal will play either City or Madrid for a spot in the final if they defeat Bayern in the quarters.

The Gunners have never manged to win the biggest football prize in Europe in their history. Arteta would be looking to change that with Arsenal looking competitive this season once again.

The North London club beat Porto to qualify to the next round of the Champions League.

Arteta’s team is fighting on two fronts; the Premier League and the Champions League and the Arsenal faithful would be hoping to see their team win at least one trophy by the end of the season.
