Mikel Arteta has been grappling with injuries throughout the season, with significant absences from key players such as Martin Ødegaard and Kai Havertz. Additionally, Gabriel Magalhaes and Riccardo Calafiori have also been sidelined for various durations, while Eberechi Eze missed the Carabao Cup final and may not be returning soon.

Reports indicate that Hincapie has left the Ecuador national team after undergoing “medical tests,” with the specifics of his condition currently unknown.

Arsenal supporters are hoping this latest development is not severe, particularly with critical fixtures approaching between now and May, alongside the World Cup scheduled for the summer.

Current Injury Situation at Arsenal

The Gunners cannot afford multiple injuries as they strive to maintain their position at the top of the Premier League. The departure of Madueke during England’s match against Uruguay has raised concerns.

As reported by the Evening Standard, the injury sustained by Madueke appears to be more worrisome compared to those of Rice and Saka.

While the withdrawal of Rice and Saka is seen as a precautionary measure, both are expected to return for the upcoming FA Cup match against Southampton or the Champions League quarter-final against Sporting Lisbon. There is also hope for William Saliba, who has left the French squad for similar reasons, though the severity of Gabriel’s recent injury remains uncertain after he missed out on international duty with Brazil.
