Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers is reportedly eyeing a move away from the club this summer.
The young midfielder, aged 23, has emerged as one of the top prospects in the Premier League, capturing the attention of several top teams.
Asking Price for Rogers Stands at £80 Million
According to The Times, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea are keen on acquiring Rogers, who would command a fee exceeding £80 million. Although Aston Villa is reluctant to let the player go, they would consider a transfer if the right amount is offered.
It remains uncertain whether any of the interested clubs are prepared to meet that hefty asking price. The England international is a remarkable talent with considerable potential to excel, making the investment seem justified. Given the current trends in the transfer market, this figure is not surprising.
Rogers’ Impact on Potential Clubs
Manchester United has heavily relied on Bruno Fernandes for offensive creativity and could benefit from additional support in the midfield. Acquiring Rogers would bring both goals and creativity to the squad, as his record of 27 goals and 24 assists in 114 appearances for Aston Villa demonstrates.
Arsenal, while having recently signed Eberechi Eze, has seen him struggle to meet expectations. Martin Ødegaard’s performance has also declined this season. Adding another attacking midfielder like Rogers may provide the necessary depth as they compete for the league title and UEFA Champions League.
Chelsea, facing similar issues, finds their attacking lineup lacking creativity. With underperforming talents such as Alejandro Garnacho and Jamie Gittens, the team often leans on Cole Palmer for offensive support. Rogers could provide the boost they desperately need.
