Arsenal presented with opportunity to secure French forward Randal Kolo Muani

Arsenal offered the chance to sign French attacker Randal Kolo Muani

According to TBR Football, Paris Saint-Germain attacker Randal Kolo Muani has been offered to Arsenal. The French attacker is not the first choice at PSG, with Luis Enrique preferring Goncalo Ramos in his attack. Kolo Muani has only been getting playing time due to Ramos’ serious injury. Arsenal did not sign a new attacker in the summer transfer window because manager Mikel Arteta trusts the players he already has at the club.

Kai Havertz and Leandro Trossard have continued to perform well, but Gabriel Jesus has struggled with fitness issues and failed to impress. Kolo Muani has also been offered to other Premier League clubs, including Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Aston Villa, and Newcastle. He is among the fringe players at PSG that the manager is looking to offload soon.

The player was signed by PSG in a €85 million move but they are now willing to accept a loss on their investment. Kolo Muani could leave the club on loan initially before a permanent transfer. With only two league starts this season, it is clear he is not in Enrique’s plans for the future.

Should Arsenal consider making a move for Kolo Muani? The Gunners have been performing well with their current attacking options. Havertz has been leading the attack effectively, exceeding expectations with his performances. Arteta needed a player like him who can score goals and link up with teammates.

Even if Arsenal were to pursue Kolo Muani, he would likely come to the club as a backup option rather than a starter. The North Londoners are also keeping an eye on playmaker Charles de Ketelaere and are still linked with Victor Osimhen despite his move to Turkey from Italy.
