Arsenal Shows Interest in Barcelona’s Raphinha

Arsenal has expressed interest in signing Raphinha from Barcelona.
The 29-year-old winger has excelled since joining Barcelona, contributing to 18 goals this season. Reports from Fichajes indicate that Arsenal has long admired Raphinha and is looking to rekindle their pursuit of him. Manager Mikel Arteta has attempted to sign the player previously.
Raphinha is also reportedly a target for Newcastle, and Liverpool has considered him as a possible replacement for Mohamed Salah.
Barcelona Reluctant to Part with Raphinha
Barcelona has no intention of selling Raphinha at this time. The club will only permit his departure if a €1 billion release clause is triggered. Additionally, sources suggest he is poised to inherit the captaincy next season. With Arsenal in need of players who can enhance their wing play and add creativity to their attacks, Raphinha would be an appealing option. Though the club has signed Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke, neither has fully met expectations, and Raphinha would represent a significant upgrade.
However, a transfer appears unlikely, especially as the player is reportedly happy at Barcelona and has no intention of leaving soon. It remains to be seen if Arsenal will look for alternative targets in the transfer market.
