As the Gunners maintain their leading position in the Premier League, they may look to enhance their roster during the upcoming January transfer window, with Semenyo seen as a critical addition in their rivalry against Manchester City.
Both Arsenal and Manchester City recognize the potential of Semenyo, although it remains to be seen if a deal can be finalized.
“Arteta has stressed the importance of maintaining stability within the team. Yet, if an opportunity for a quality signing arises in January, they could pursue it based on the circumstances of the deal. It was noted that Semenyo has reportedly declined an offer from Spurs, so we’ll see how this unfolds, but Arsenal remains a viable option,” a source commented.
Would Signing Semenyo Benefit Arsenal?
Arsenal struggles with depth on the left wing, and acquiring Semenyo would significantly strengthen that position. However, overtaking Manchester City in the next few matches poses a challenge.
