Arsenal is aiming to bolster their midfield by pursuing Ayyoub Bouaddi from Lille.
According to a report by The Mirror, the club has already reached out to Bouaddi’s representatives about a potential transfer in January, offering €45 million for his services. Nevertheless, Lille is hesitant to allow the young player to leave.
Interest from Other Premier League Clubs
Chelsea, Manchester United, and Liverpool are also keeping a close eye on his situation. Andrea Berta is spearheading the discussions for Arsenal, and it will be interesting to see how this situation unfolds.
Lille might request approximately €50 million for Bouaddi, and Premier League teams have the financial strength to complete the acquisition. At just 18 years old, he is a highly promising talent who could offer substantial long-term value. Additionally, the chance to play in the Premier League may be appealing to him, though he needs to ensure he joins a team where he will receive ample playing time.
Arsenal’s Needs in Midfield

Arsenal could benefit from more technical skill in their midfield, and Bouaddi appears to be a fitting candidate. However, with a strong midfield lineup already in place, it is uncertain if he would immediately become a starting player. The decision remains whether Bouaddi would be willing to accept a role as a rotational player.
At this stage in his career, it is crucial for him to gain regular playing time. Being a benchwarmer at a prominent club could hinder his growth. Bouaddi is an exceptional talent, and if he reaches his potential, opportunities at larger clubs will surely arise in the future.
