AS Roma has announced that they are in negotiations to allow Kostas Tsimikas to end his loan and return to Liverpool.

Discussions regarding his return began after Roma agreed to permit Tsimikas to leave the club and rejoin Liverpool next week.

Ricky Massara, the club director, confirmed, “It’s true, we are in talks with #LFC about that,” as reported by Fabrizio Romano on Twitter.

Arne Slot’s Position in Jeopardy Following Narrow Loss to Bournemouth

This transfer news emerges amid a challenging period for manager Arne Slot.

The Dutch coach is in a precarious situation after a disappointing 3-2 loss to Bournemouth over the weekend, adding to a troubling streak of poor form during winter.

Analysis of the team’s recent performances shows that Liverpool has secured only one win in their last seven Premier League outings, gathering just 5 points from a possible 21.

The defeat against Bournemouth dropped the Reds to 6th place in the league, now 14 points behind table leaders Arsenal.

Initially, Liverpool had a fortunate start to the season, winning their first five matches despite lackluster play. Without those victories, they would find themselves near the relegation zone with 21 points.

The uncertainty surrounding Slot’s future is growing, with speculation shifting from if he will be dismissed to when. The Liverpool management must act swiftly to prevent the season from unraveling completely.
