Former US Open finalist Leylah Fernandez will face former French Open champion Barbora Krejcikova in Eastbourne on Monday. The event will take place at Rothesay Eastbourne International in Devonshire Park, Eastbourne, Great Britain from June 24-29, 2024 on grass courts with a prize money of €740,160. This tournament serves as the final tune-up for Wimbledon, set against the backdrop of the breezy British South Coast.
The event, originally held in Nottingham, returned to Devonshire Park in Eastbourne in 2017 as a combined ATP Tour and WTA event. The Rothesay International is played in the week leading up to Wimbledon, with Francisco Cerundolo and Madison Keys emerging as the champions in 2023 for the men’s and women’s events respectively.
