ATP Prize Money and Points Breakdown for the 2024 Lyon Open

2024 Lyon Open ATP Prize Money & Points Overview

The seventh edition of the Lyon Open will run from May 19th to 25th, and details of prize money distribution have been revealed.

Some of the ATP stars will use this tournament to sharpen their skills and build confidence ahead of the second Grand Slam of the season. French players account for the highest success in Lyon, with three home winners in the last six editions.

Last year, Arthur Fils defied the odds to win his maiden ATP title and will be part of the field in 2024 as the tournament’s sixth seed. The event will be spearheaded by France’s No. 1 player, Ugo Humbert, seeking a third tour-level title of a career-best season.

Alexander Bublik, Frances Tiafoe, Francisco Cerundolo, and Tomas Martin Etcheverry will all rank highly in the list of favorites. Madrid Open runner-up Felix Auger-Aliassime has hit form at the right time and cannot be ignored in this conversation.

Clay-court experts Mariano Navone, Thiago Seyboth Wild, and Luciano Darderi could be among the dangerous floaters in the draw. Veteran Gael Monfils will be unseeded.

Players competing at the 2024 Lyon Open will battle for a share of €579,320 in prize money, which represents nearly a 3% increase from 12 months ago. This increment will be reflected in all rounds of the main draw.

Just qualifying for the main draw, players are guaranteed €6,215 but won’t receive any ranking points if they don’t progress beyond the first round. Reaching the second-round stage is equivalent to €10,165 in pay and 25 points.

Players who make it to the quarterfinal will pocket €17,510 and receive 50 points. As for those who stumble in the semis, they will earn €30,220 and receive 100 points.

The champion is the week’s biggest earner. He is expected to boost his net worth by €88,125 and will receive 250 points. The full overview of the prize money and points allocation for the 2024 Lyon Open can be seen below.
