MOVISTAR CHILE OPEN—Santiago, Chile

Argentine Sebastien Baez won his second consecutive title and the sixth of his career on Sunday in Santiago, Chile, upending local favourite Alejandro Table 3-6, 6-0, 6-4.

In a match that lasted two hours and 14 minutes, Baez struck five aces, won 70 percent  of his first serve points and broke the serve of his left-handed opponent on five occasions.

Tying his head-to-head with Tabilo at 1-1, Baez also won the 500 level event in Rio de Janeiro last week.

Moving up to No. 19 in the world, Baez will now shift gears to the Masters 1000 event in Indian Wells, California.

Tabilo, who won his maiden title in Auckland, New Zealand to start the year, will hit a new career-high of No. 39 on Monday.
