Barkley declares: Timberwolves-Nuggets series is a done deal

Barkley on Timberwolves-Nuggets series: "It's a wrap"

NBA legend Charles Barkley is confident that the Minnesota Timberwolves will not only eliminate the defending champions, the Denver Nuggets, in the Western Conference semifinals, but predicts a sweep.

Barkley’s comments came after the Wolves dominated the Nuggets in Game 2, winning comfortably by 26 points and allowing just 80 points.

“This series is a wrap. Minnesota is better than the Nuggets. They don’t have an advantage anywhere. … They’re gonna sweep the Denver Nuggets. Period,” Barkley said confidently on Inside the NBA.

The first two games of the series took place in Denver and will now shift to Minneapolis for Game 3 and 4. Barkley thinks that on their home court the Timberwolves will be impossible to beat.
