TBL newcomer Cayirova Belediye strengthened their roster with addition of 24-year old guard Eray Aydogan (185cm-2000) for season 2024-25. Aydogan has played for the last two years at Samsunspor (BSL). BSL was a little too high level for him, where in three games he recorded just 0.3ppg and 1.0apg last season. TBL will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
He won Turkish TB2L championship title in 2024.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at Buyukcekmece (also in BSL). BSL was a little too high level for him, where in 6 games he averaged only 1.0ppg in that year.
He represented Turkey at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 in Tel-Aviv (Israel) five years ago. His stats at that event were 7 games: 1.4ppg, 1.6rpg, 1.9apg.
He has played previously for four other teams: Galatasaray, FMV Isik, Duzce and Manisa. Aydogan won Turkish TB2L championship title in 2024.
