During the San Antonio Spurs’ 113-112 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Spurs’ mascot, The Coyote, dressed as Batman, successfully caught a real bat that had flown onto the court.
Accompanied by the iconic ‘Batman’ theme, The Coyote used a net to capture the bat, eliciting cheers from the crowd in a triumphant moment reminiscent of Russell Crowe in ‘Gladiator.
