Bayern Munich to renew interest in Manchester City standout in upcoming transfer window

Bayern Munich set to reignite interest in Man City star in the summer

Bayern Munich ready to reignite interest in Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker

The 33-year-old was close to joining Bayern Munich last summer, but Pep Guardiola persuaded him to stay at Man City.

After rejecting a move to Germany, Walker signed a contract extension with Man City until 2026.

Despite enjoying regular playing time, Walker could still leave Etihad Stadium this summer.

The Daily Star reports Bayern Munich’s interest in Walker, with a potential move in the summer.

If Walker joins Allianz Arena, he would reunite with former teammate Harry Kane.

Both Walker and Man City are aware of Bayern’s interest, but it remains uncertain if Walker will leave this summer.

Bayern Munich continued their search for a right back in the January transfer window, after failing to sign Walker previously.

In the winter window, Bayern also pursued Kieran Trippier, but Newcastle United rejected their offers for the full-back.

Additionally, Bayern had Takehiro Tomiyasu on their radar in January, but the Japanese player opted to extend his contract with Arsenal.

Man City rumored to involve Walker in a deal for Musiala

Given their struggles to secure a new right back, it makes sense for Bayern Munich to revisit their interest in Walker.

There is speculation that Jamal Musiala could be part of negotiations between Bayern and Man City.

Man City have shown interest in the young playmaker, so Walker could potentially be included in a deal for Musiala.
