Becker: Sinner’s Consistency Key to Success, No Bad Matches Yet

Jannik Sinner has been impressing at the 2024 Wimbledon Championships, earning praise for his consistency from Boris Becker.

Becker, a Wimbledon legend, has been following the tournament closely. As a former player and current tennis analyst, he appreciates the level of play displayed by Sinner.

Despite his departure from the BBC broadcasting team, Becker’s passion for tennis remains undimmed, and he was particularly impressed by Sinner’s recent match against Matteo Berrettini.

Becker highlighted Sinner’s consistency as a key factor in his success, noting that the young Italian has yet to play a “bad match” this year.

“I think Sinner is on the right track. He has been playing for months now at a very high level, and his greatest quality is consistency. If we consider the last period, he has not yet played a “bad match,” let’s touch wood.”

“On the one hand, you can’t always win, but on the other, he has always kept a very high level, more than any other player since the beginning of the year. This means that to beat him, you have to do even better, and that’s why this year he’s only lost a couple of matches.”

Sinner is considered a top contender for the Wimbledon title, especially with other favorites facing challenges.
