Bellingham leads celebration of title victory as Bynoe-Gittens steps up in absence of Sancho

Harry Kane – Bayern Munich

Harry Kane bagged his 36th league goal of the season at VfB Stuttgart at the weekend but his goal was in vain as Bayern Munich crashed to a 3-1 loss. Kane struck with one of four shots at the MHPArena and completed three dribbles in the defeat.

Eric Dier – Bayern Munich

Remaining at the MHPArena, Eric Dier was forced off at the break in the loss following a nasty head injury that means he is a doubt for Wednesday’s game in Madrid. Prior to his withdrawal, Dier returned a 100% pass success rate and made one clearance off the line to return a WhoScored rating of 6.70.

Jamie Bynoe-Gittens – Borussia Dortmund

While Jadon Sancho was rested with an eye on Tuesday’s trip to Paris, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens put in a solid showing as Borussia Dortmund smashed Augsburg 5-1. Having replaced Arda Guler midway through the second half, Jude Bellingham netted his 18th league goal of the season two minutes after his introduction to double Real Madrid’s advantage against Cadiz. Bellingham also made two key passes and two tackles in a solid cameo on home turf.

Josh Doig – Sassuolo

Sassuolo boosted their survival hopes with a fine 1-0 win over champions Inter. Josh Doig was key in the victory having provided the assist for Armand Lauriente first-half winner from his only key pass. Doig also made three clearances in a clean-sheet attaining display.

Fikayo Tomori – AC Milan

AC Milan and Genoa played out the game of the weekend in Serie A as the pair shared the spoils in an entertaining 3-3 draw. Fikayo Tomori did all he could to protect the AC Milan goal as he made three tackles, three clearances, and won three aerial duels.

Djed Spence – Genoa

Remaining in Milan, Djed Spence was solid at right wing-back for Genoa at San Siro as he made three tackles, two clearances, and one interception. While he contributed little in attack, Spence was still key in claiming a result.

Tammy Abraham – Roma

Tammy Abraham replaced Romelu Lukaku midway through the second half of Roma’s 1-1 draw with Juventus but failed to impress in the stalemate. Indeed, he committed as many fouls as he managed shots (1) to land a WhoScored rating of just 6.16.

Angel Gomes – Lille

Lille and Lyon played out a seven-goal thriller on Monday night, though Les Dogues conceded twice late on to lose 4-3. Matty Longstaff – Toronto FC

Matty Longstaff scored his first MLS goal of the season as he came off the bench to net in a 3-1 win over FC Dallas. The midfielder found the net with his only effort and won one aerial duel on his way to a WhoScored rating of 7.06.

Ryan Gauld – Vancouver Whitecaps

While Vancouver Whitecaps were held to a 0-0 draw by Austin FC, Ryan Gauld did all he could to break the deadlock for his side over the weekend. Gauld managed eight shots and four key passes to land a WhoScored rating of 7.29.
