The Cincinnati Bengals finally got into the win column during the 2024 NFL season as they beat the Carolina Panthers in Week 4.

Cincinnati had struggled with injuries and inconsistent play on both sides of the football, but they finally managed to put it together against Carolina to pick up a much-needed win.

However, the Bengals will have a much tougher task in Week 5 as they’ll take on their AFC North rivals the Baltimore Ravens at home.

After dropping the first two games of the season, Baltimore has picked up two wins in a row and will look to make it three against Cincinnati.

Defensively, the Bengals haven’t been bad but they’ll need to be much better if they hope to slow down Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry and the rest of the Ravens’ offense.

Ahead of the highly-anticipated matchup, Cincinnati announced it’s elevating Jalen Davis from the practice squad via the team’s official X account.

We have elevated CB Jalen Davis from the practice squad to the active roster for #BALvsCIN.”

It’s a standard practice squad elevation for Davis who will revert back to the practice squad come Monday.

With veteran defensive back Mike Hilton listed as questionable due to a knee injury, Davis could see snaps on the defense though he likely ends up serving as depth or on special teams.

Baltimore hasn’t been great throwing the football this season as their run game has dominated teams, so it’ll be interesting to see how Cincinnati goes about getting stops and scoring on the other end.
