When superstar quarterback Joe Burrow went down with a season-ending injury a few weeks ago, the Cincinnati Bengals were written off by most because the team’s heart and soul was stuck watching from the sideline.

With Burrow on the mend and not expected to get back on the football field until next season, the Bengals turned to Jake Browning to shoulder the load for Cincinnati without high expectations of the team getting a lot of wins to finish out the regular season.

Even though there are still a lot of people who aren’t taking the Bengals seriously or at least not expecting them to be a force to be reckoned with moving forward, Browning has brought some hope to this team without its undisputed leader under center.

As noted by NFL Network, Browning has won two of the last three games he’s started in place of Burrow and is reportedly making NFL history, as he has the highest completion percentage of any quarterback in his first three starts since 1950.

Browning and company won’t have it easy to get through the final four games of the regular season, with the team facing a desperate Minnesota Vikings squad in Week 15, followed by the Pittsburgh Steelers, Kansas City Chiefs, and Cleveland Browns.

All of these teams are hoping to make a final push to the NFL playoffs, while a couple of these teams hope to contend for a Super Bowl title, which means Browning will have his work cut out for him to finish his magical regular-season run.
