The Denver Broncos are riding high after clinching their third consecutive win, this time against the division rival Las Vegas Raiders.

Donning their iconic Orange Crush 1977 Throwback uniforms, the Broncos put on a show, dominating the Raiders 34-18 and improving their record to 3-2.

Rookie quarterback Bo Nix was the star of the show, delivering a career-defining performance.

He completed 19 of 27 passes for 206 yards and two touchdowns, while also etching his name in the franchise record books by connecting with 11 different receivers.

It was a display that had fans sitting up and taking notice.

However, the game wasn’t without its share of drama. Despite holding a comfortable 20-10 lead in the third quarter, cameras caught Nix and head coach Sean Payton in what appeared to be a heated exchange on the sidelines.

The unexpected confrontation, shared by NFL Insider Ari Meirov, raised eyebrows as the team was in a strong position at that moment.

In the post-game press conference, Payton even shed some light on the incident and his relationship with the young quarterback.

He likened Nix’s carefree attitude to that of the iconic movie character Ferris Bueller, suggesting that while endearing, it might need some fine-tuning.

Payton was quick to emphasize his fondness for Nix, framing his feedback as constructive criticism aimed at nurturing the quarterback’s growth.

This victory in their first divisional game of the season is particularly sweet for the Broncos.

Coming into the season with tempered expectations, their current 3-2 record is a pleasant surprise that’s sure to boost team morale.

For now, the Mile High City is buzzing with renewed optimism, and fans must be eager to see what this reinvigorated team can achieve in the weeks to come.
