Some rivalries don’t end on the court.

Jessica Pegula has proven she can beat the best in the world.

That didn’t stop 2014 Wimbledon finalist Genie Bouchard from jabbing Pegula after the American lost to Aryna Sabalenka, 7-5, 7-5 in the US Open final on Saturday.

Pegula knocked off world No. 1 Iga Swiatek and Roland Garros runner-up Karolina Muchova en route to her maiden major final in New York snapping a streak of six Slam quarterfinal losses.

When a fan on twitter questioned why Pegula, whose parents own the NFL’s Buffalo Bills and NHL’s Buffalo Sabres, “gets hated” on social media, Bouchard did not pull her punches.

“Money can’t buy a US Open final lol,” world No. 570 Bouchard replied.
