Brandin Podziemski: Making A Case For NBA All-Rookie First Team

Brandin Podziemski: Making A Case For NBA All-Rookie First Team

Golden State Warriors rookie Brandin Podziemski confidently stated that he deserves a spot on the NBA All-Rookie First Team, with his teammate Trayce Jackson-Davis deserving recognition on the Second Team.

On SiriusXM NBA Radio, Podziemski expressed, “I don’t think there’s five rookies better than me,” as he reflected on his season performance and eligibility for the NBA All-Rookie First Team.

He added, “I think I deservedly should be on the first team and I think Trayce should be on the second team,” recognizing the contributions of both himself and Jackson-Davis.

Showing his confidence, Podziemski emphasized, “If you could re-draft, you wouldn’t take me at 19 and you wouldn’t take Trayce at 57.”

He continued, “So I think it’s just a stamp of approval and it kind of goes to show how much time and work you put in over the summer and through training camp. And now everybody’s getting to see it on a global stage.”

With averages of 9.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game, Podziemski has made a significant impact on the Golden State Warriors’ season.
