BC Kavkasia Tbilisi (Superleague) added to their roster 33-year old international point guard Givi Bakradze (180cm-80kg-1991) for new 2024-25 season. Bakradze played last season at Iverioni. In 20 Superleague games he recorded 6.7ppg, 2.6rpg, 5.9apg (top 5) and 1.1spg. He helped them to make it to the cup final.
Bakradze was also voted to Eurobasket.com Georgian League All-Domestic Players Team in 2018, 2020 and 2022.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at BC GAU Tbilisi where in 21 Superleague games he averaged 9.3ppg, 2.5rpg, 7.5apg and 1.1spg in that year. He contributed to his team winning the regular season. Quite impressive year as he was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Georgian League Honorable Mention. Bakradze also played 9 games in Caucasus Basketball League where he had 9.6ppg, 2.8rpg and 7.8apg in that year. It was another spectacular season as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Caucasus Basketball League Second Team.
He has been a member of Georgian international program for some years. Bakradze has been regularly called to Georgian senior team since 2020 and previously for U20 National Team back in 2011.
He has played previously professionally also in Finland (Kobrat) and Georgia (Dinamo, Tbilisi State University, Zestaponi, Tbilisi State Medical University and Vera).
Bakradze won Georgian A League championship title in 2019. He was also selected to Eurobasket.com Georgian League All-Domestic Players Team in 2018, 2020 and 2022.
