Panelefsiniakos AOK Eleusina (National League 1) landed 29-year old 186cm guard Vangelis Palaiohoritis for the upcoming season. Palaiohoritis played most recently at AEO Proteas Voulas. He helped them to end the regular season as the second-best team in the league.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at Megaridas (Elite League) where in 28 games he averaged 5.3ppg and 1.3rpg. Palaiohoritis has played previously for four other teams: Ionikos Nikaias, Ionikos AS Nea Filadelfeias, Ethnikos, and Doukas.
Among many awards, he won the Greek B Division Group 1 championship title in 2018. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Greek B League Honorable Mention in 2020.
