Chelsea has officially recalled Mamadou Sarr from his loan at Strasbourg, while Aaron Anselmino has been loaned to the same club.
Chelsea brought Anselmino back from Borussia Dortmund, with expectations that he would participate in the first team for the remainder of the season.
However, Chelsea has now revealed that the promising Argentine player will instead spend the second half of the season on loan at Strasbourg, taking over Sarr’s previous position.

The announcement regarding Sarr was made just after 6 PM, while Anselmino’s news followed roughly 45 minutes later:

Chelsea Reunites Mamadou Sarr with Liam Rosenior
While some Chelsea supporters may find these transactions surprising, it could be a wise strategic decision for the club to have Sarr work once more under manager Liam Rosenior.
Rosenior was appointed as Chelsea’s new manager after demonstrating impressive capabilities at fellow BlueCo club Strasbourg.
Fans are likely eager to secure tickets for the upcoming Carabao Cup semi-final against Arsenal, but it seems too soon for Sarr to make his debut in such a crucial match.
The Senegalese player would face a challenging introduction to the squad if asked to perform at the Emirates Stadium, but following that match, he may find more opportunities to play.
