The New York Giants were recently selected to be part of the coverage of Hard Knocks this offseason.
That means a lot of conversations and moments have been and will be brought to light.
One recent moment that was brought to light came at the NFL Scouting Combine earlier this offseason.
Giants head coach Brian Daboll gave his take on whether or not he could run a seven-second 40-yard dash.
“I guarantee you I could run a 7.0 forty…If you put a plate full of wings on the other end, I’m doing that…There’s no doubt in my mind I can run under a seven,” Daboll joked with his Giants co-workers.
It’s great to see Daboll and the Giants laughing together.
There hasn’t been much to laugh about in recent years, at least inside the building.
This team has made the playoffs just once in the last six seasons.
They have won 10 or more games just once in the last 13 years.
Big Blue had to part ways with arguably their best player in Pro Bowl running back Saquon Barkley earlier this offseason.
Additionally, their starting quarterback is Daniel Jones, who hasn’t necessarily played up to his potential yet in his career and is coming off of an injury.
