The Washington Wizards have appointed Brian Keefe as their interim head coach, succeeding Wes Unseld Jr., who transitioned to a front-office position.
Keefe, in his first year with the Wizards, brings experience from coaching roles with the Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks, and Oklahoma City Thunder. The Wizards have announced plans for a thorough search to select their permanent head coach in the upcoming offseason.
