Few players in the history of the NFL have risen to fame and arguably superstar status like San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy, who many believed wouldn’t even have a future in the league as a backup at his position, let alone becoming the face of a storied franchise.

Only Tom Brady compares to Purdy’s rise to fame in the league, as they were both written off before even being given an opportunity. However, when they were given that opportunity, they flourished and had nothing but success as starting quarterbacks in the NFL.

With Purdy going through an incredible transformation over the past two years, the up-and-coming quarterback was asked what his favorite moment of the NFL offseason was, and he didn’t hesitate to say that it was when he got married via 49ers on NBCS.

“It went so fast. We had the closest people in our life be there for us in one day, so it was a pretty special moment to be able to go through that whole season last year of football and the Super Bowl and the craziness and coming back from surgery to then marrying my best friend. It was crazy. That was the best day of the year for me,” Purdy said.

With Purdy marrying his best friend and convincing many of his doubters that he is the real deal under center for the 49ers, the young quarterback will try to take it to another level during the 2024 NFL season, with San Francisco having Super Bowl aspirations again.

The 49ers are considered to be the team to beat in the NFC as of right now, and Purdy will lead the way in the 2024 campaign, which will raise expectations.
