Bronny & LeBron James Shine at Lakers Media Day: A Recap of the Highlights

Bronny

In what is a total dream come true for LeBron James, he had his son Bronny by his side at Lakers Media Day on Monday and it was pretty cool.

The pair were actually hilarious. Trash talking and making jokes the whole time.

Early on in the day, Bronny came up to LeBron at the end of his interview with Spectrum and goes “Ew” as he turned around and saw James Jr. approaching him.

Last week, Lakers GM Rob Pelinka shared with the media that LeBron schooled his son during practice, then trash talked him and Bronny got a chance to share his side of the story.

“Alright, in all seriousness, I looked at the film and he did step out of bounds,” he said. “But I’m not gonna go there. I’m not gonna go there right now.”

To which LeBron replied, “What do you mean you’re not going to go there right now? You just went there.”

Bronny tried to argue his point, but LeBron hilariously quipped back, “Man, you’re a rookie anyways.”

The media had a lot of questions for the father-son duo. One of them was about whether Bronny will be carpooling with LeBron to games and training.

But it seems like Lakers rookie won’t be doing that anytime soon.

Then, there was just some general joking around.

Despite all the jokes, Bronny definitely seems excited to be given the opportunity to play with his dad.

“I think I’m most looking forward to practice, going head-to-head with each other,” he said. “I feel like that is such a crazy feeling, being in practice with your dad and competing at a high level. On the other side of that, having to go against LeBron James is kinda a lot in practice every day, but I’m looking forward to it as well.”

Of course, there were also some great memes to come out of the day:
