Brooks Koepka Secures Fourth LIV Golf Title

Brooks Koepka claims fourth LIV Golf title - Golf News

Brooks Koepka secured his fourth individual title in the LIV Golf League career by finishing strong with a final round score of 68 at Sentosa Golf Club in Singapore. He clinched the Singapore event victory by two shots over Cameron Smith and Marc Leishman.

The current US PGA Champion is gearing up for a potential successful title defense at Valhalla in two weeks. Koepka posted a 15-under par total over three rounds, building on his momentum from his previous major victory at Oak Hill.

Reflecting on his performance, Koepka mentioned, “It’s all starting to come around. I like the way things are trending.” Even though he started the final round with a three-shot lead, several competitors challenged him throughout, but Koepka held onto his lead and finished strong.

A late birdie from Leishman narrowed the gap, but a bogey on the final hole by Leishman secured Koepka’s two-shot lead heading into the par-5 18th hole. Playing conservatively, Koepka avoided risks to ensure his victory.

Regarding the team title, Ripper GC, led by Leishman and Smith alongside Matt Jones and Lucas Herbert, emerged victorious. They finished 32-under for the tournament, three shots ahead of Fireball GC and Cleeks GC.

Jones commented on their success, saying, “It’s amazing. Last week was special for us, but to repeat our victory this week is truly special.”
