Despite Trump’s proclamation that it would be an extraordinary round of golf, they fell just one shot shy of their goal.

In this unique golf challenge, DeChambeau and his partner play a two-man scramble from the most forward tees, aiming to break 50 for 18 holes. Despite DeChambeau’s ability to reach all the par-4s and par-5s in short order, achieving 23 under par proved to be a tough task. The duo managed to make 12 birdies, five eagles, and a par, finishing with a score of 50.

Prior to the round, DeChambeau announced that he would donate $10,000 per birdie and $20,000 per eagle to the Wounded Warrior Project.

During their time on the course, Trump shared his admiration for the landscape at his New Jersey course in Bedminster, located just 40 miles from Manhattan. Trump, who boasts a 2 handicap and many club championships at his courses, showcased his skills with the driver and putter, impressing viewers with his shot-making abilities.
