Bukayo Saka appears to have resolved dispute with Arsenal legend

Bukayo Saka appears to have settled his feud with Arsenal legend

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has shared a playful post on his official Instagram account, revealing that he and Gunners legend Robert Pires are friends again.

Saka and Pires can be seen smiling in a photo together, showcasing their renewed friendship. Pires, a former world-class player for Arsenal and part of the famous 2003/04 Invincibles side, had previously made comments suggesting that Manchester City winger Jeremy Doku was a slightly better and more consistent player.

Pires had previously commented, stating: “Bukayo still lacks a certain level of consistency and experience, especially in the big games. Perhaps this season, especially in the Champions League, he will show a more convincing face than last season when it counts.

“For example, in my opinion Jeremy Doku from Manchester City is a bit better because he is technically stronger, has better dribbling skills and is more imaginative.”

It’s clear why these comments may have caused some tension between Saka and Pires, as well as among Arsenal fans!

Nevertheless, Pires remains a revered figure at Arsenal, and he continues to support Saka as the young talent strives for success with the team.
