Caitlin Clark breaks WNBA record against Mystics despite facing discrimination

TalkBasket

Indiana Fever/X

Caitlin Clark made history in the Indiana Fever’s narrow 85-83 victory over the Washington Mystics. She became the fastest WNBA player to achieve at least 200 points and 50 assists in just 12 games, totaling 202 points, 76 assists, and 64 rebounds.

Clark also tied the record for seven made 3-pointers in a game and joined Sabrina Ionescu as the only rookies to record a 30-5-5 stat line.

“It felt good to shoot the ball well,” Clark said after the game. “I feel like even my misses were right there.”
